Hi,

My SolidCP is unable to create mailbox account. I am getting following error while creating although I have checked all the settings provided in following link and all are set as required.

https://solidcp.com/kb/configuration/exchange-2013-2016-configuration/

Any solution or help will be highly appreciated to resolve the following error:

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.Exception: Error executing 'CREATE_MAILBOX' task on 'Test User' EXCHANGE ---> System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> Connecting to remote server 0.0.0.0 failed with the following error message : [ClientAccessServer=ABC,BackEndServer=,RequestId=84442af0-0efd-4fde-a933-848a4580d62c,TimeStamp=20/12/2018 1:20:39 AM] Access Denied For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic. at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters) at SolidCP.Providers.Exchange.ExchangeServer.CreateMailEnableUser(String upn, String organizationId, String organizationDistinguishedName, String securityGroup, String organizationDomain, ExchangeAccountType accountType, String mailboxDatabase, String offlineAddressBook, String addressBookPolicy, String accountName, Boolean enablePOP, Boolean enableIMAP, Boolean enableOWA, Boolean enableMAPI, Boolean enableActiveSync, Int64 issueWarningKB, Int64 prohibitSendKB, Int64 prohibitSendReceiveKB, Int32 keepDeletedItemsDays, Int32 maxRecipients, Int32 maxSendMessageSizeKB, Int32 maxReceiveMessageSizeKB, Boolean hideFromAddressBook, Boolean isConsumer, Boolean enabledLitigationHold, Int64 recoverabelItemsSpace, Int64 recoverabelItemsWarning) at SolidCP.EnterpriseServer.ExchangeServerController.CreateMailbox(Int32 itemId, Int32 accountId, ExchangeAccountType accountType, String accountName, String displayName, String name, String domain, String password, Boolean sendSetupInstructions, String setupInstructionMailAddress, Int32 mailboxPlanId, Int32 archivedPlanId, String subscriberNumber, Boolean EnableArchiving) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at SolidCP.EnterpriseServer.ExchangeServerController.CreateMailbox(Int32 itemId, Int32 accountId, ExchangeAccountType accountType, String accountName, String displayName, String name, String domain, String password, Boolean sendSetupInstructions, String setupInstructionMailAddress, Int32 mailboxPlanId, Int32 archivedPlanId, String subscriberNumber, Boolean EnableArchiving) at SolidCP.EnterpriseServer.esExchangeServer.CreateMailbox(Int32 itemId, Int32 accountId, ExchangeAccountType accountType, String accountName, String displayName, String name, String domain, String password, Boolean sendSetupInstructions, String setupInstructionMailAddress, Int32 mailboxPlanId, Int32 archivedPlanId, String subscriberNumber, Boolean EnableArchiving) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Hello,

I am pretty sure i replied this to you in our ticket system but for the community:

Connecting to remote server 0.0.0.0 failed with the following error message : [ClientAccessServer=ABC,BackEndServer=,RequestId=84442af0-0efd-4fde-a933-848a4580d62c,TimeStamp=20/12/2018 1:20:39 AM] Access Denied

is generally all about the right priveledges for the SolidCP Server app pool user.

One question though : Remote server 0.0.0.0 failed -> this is modified for the forum post or is this actually part of the error?

Regards,

Marco

I think this was also replied in ticket.

But for others who seek some extra info:

  1. Make sure the SolidCP User has "HTML Email" selected and not "plain text" as plain text is bugged sending setup instructions in Exchange.
  2. For any further information as to why it errors and you have HTML Email set please check the exchange management log as to where it errors, it should provide more details what it's trying to execute and where it's failing.
