is this will make any other problem or security risk ?

@kemokono if you don't mind me asking which file/folder did you make the change in?

Hello,

It shouldn't be a security risk but it does mean it will display files it got no write access to i think (within that folder).

So some items are displayed pretty much just for show 🙂

Regards,

Marco

I have noticed an issue as well with the File Manager. We can browse folders that have a few files in them but as soon as a folder more than two levels from the root is clicked, the interface hangs and fails to return any results.

I have checked all applicable error logs on the portal server and there is nothing to indicate any issues on the server side.

There is definitely something not right with the way the server side control is operating.

We are on Windows 2016

Thanks!

Jim

Hi Karim

Did you manage to resolve this issue. I am having the exact same problem when there is more then 17 items in a directory.

Hi there Guys

Any Idea what's causing this all of a sudden?

I literally went and removed files for the wwwroot dir and had no issue up until I get to around the 17-20 file mark. I assumed its something with the last few files completely removed those and uploaded 3 different files and ran into the same issue. There no way it can be permissions problem.

Any advice would be appreciated .

thanks
