We have been using Websitepanel for some time and are now using SCP. Other than some minor procedural changes we believe we have a firm grasp on this bad boy.

However, when a new user creates a Domain and opts to Create a website, SCP seems to do so, but there is no Folder created for the user.

Example: created test user called Bubba, created Domain (test.com - local lan in test lab). No Folder is created for Bubba or any user.

Permissions are fine and we are using the default path. We have checked to ensure we have all the pre-requisites installed and configured IIS as required.

Any pointers are appreciated.

Thanyou.

Hello,

Can you confirm if the system provider is set to your web server?

Thanks,

Yes it is set to web server. But I think I found the problem.

I do not know how this happened but we had 2 Server Resources with the same name, on the same box and the same resources. I.E., we created a server resource called "Web Server" (without quotes), assigned the resources for that server. But for some reason we had Two identical resources...

So it makes sense that when creating a Domain and Website SCP didn't know what to do (but did create the DNS zone).

After I found this, I literally deleted every Website, Domain and Both Server Resources.

Rebooted to ensure a clean Event Log, recreated the Web Server Resource, Hosting Plan and User.

Now all is okay.

It's a mystery as to how I could have done this. I get that the resources is actually an ID in the DB and the name is presumably for Humans.

Thanks for the reply, it is appreciated.
