I already found this article: https://solidcp.com/forum/question/ftp-installation-and-setup/
But it's missing the step I'm looking for... the first step. 😀
I found FTP as a hosting add-on, but I can't figure out how to add FTP to a hosting plan. I managed to add the FTP add-on to one of the spaces, but it doesn't show anywhere doing it that way either.
I've gone into the Configuration > Servers > My Server > Settings and added FTP there, but that also doesn't work.
Does anyone have any step-by-step directions on where and how to add FTP support to the hosting plan?
I'm running v1.4.7 by the way. 🙂
Hey,
I think the part your missing is going to Configuration -> Servers -> Settings next to the server which runs FTP -> Click Add next to FTP.
This has to be completed by each provider you want to add to a server.

Trevor
Hey,
I can see you edited the question just after i replied. If you are using a Virtual Server in the hosting plan you need to add the resources there first.
If you are just using the Target server as the server with FTP it should show.

Trevor
Thanks for the reply, Trevor. It looks like I was updating my question at the same time you were answering. I think there's still a missing step. I've done that.
I thought maybe I wasn't using the correct provider, but I think I am.
Microsoft FTP Server 10.0 (for Windows Server 2016)
Hello Trevor:
Actually, I think the issue here is that this is an imported site that was already on the server. 🙂
