In my SoldCP install using AWStats when I go to view stats I am getting a HTTP Error 401.3 - Unauthorized error. The only way I have been able to get this working is to add the "Users" group to the stats wwwroot directory but by doing this there is no security when going to view stats.

How does the authentication work when viewing stats by clicking on the "View Statistics" link from the customers control panel? Is there any authentication happening at that point?

Can anyone answer my question on what authentication is happening if any when you go to "View Statistics"?
