Dear Team,

i used the the "2012r2DC-Unattend.xml" from SolidCP Download Server.
After the virtual machine is created and started, I get an error with the unattend.xml file in line 5 column 3, which is:

<ad:set name="architecture" value="amd64" /> <!-- "x86" for 32-bit OS editions and "amd64" for 64-bit OS editions -->

Integration Services are installed in vhdx Template and sysprep was done to prepare the template.

Any suggestions...?

Hi,

It sounds like SolidCP didnt correctly configure the sysprep file when deploying the VM. I would double check the "Index of the volume to expand:" setting and try swap it between 1 and 0.

Kind regards,

Hi Trevor,

thanks for answer. same error with 1 or 0.

I tried also a Windows 2016 template with "your" W2016 unattend.xml, there comes up the error on line 28, which is the first line with a "ad:" variable in it (ip address). it does not parse the variables...:(

Hello,

Can you please check your Audit log and let me know what it shows?
