Hello,
It looks like after upgrading to 1.4.0 or 1.4.1 the DNS zone import doesn't work anymore.  I didn't use it for about 2 months but just saw it doesn't work anymore.
SolidCP 1.4.1 on all servers
3x DNS Server (Windows 2012R2), SolicCP Server installed
1x Web server (Windows 2016) SolidCP Enterprise server, SolicCP Portal Server and SolidCP Server asp.net 4.5.1 installed.
When I login with the serveradmin account and navigate to a customer,  then the customer's hosting space,  them "import resources"  and click DNS.   It says : "wait.." and then comes back with nothing...
I did the above test again and on the SolidCP Enterprise server I started Wireshark.  I see it is doing a POST /DnsServer.asmx to the DNS server with a GetZones SOAPaction.   I also see the returning 200-OK with a <Getzoneresponse><GetZonesResult><string> ... (many <string>domainnames</string> in it).   So why is the Portal not displaying these.. ?   The backend works fine as far as I can see...
Can anybody confirm this is working in 1.4.1 ?

Hello,
I can confirm that the import resources for DNS (MS DNS 2012+ and MS DNS) is working for 1.4.1.
If the portal shows nothing to add the domain is mostlikely already present in the database of SolidCP (we sometimes see that happening for a previousely deleted domain which has some reminants in the database domains.dbo table).
Regards,
Marco

Thanks Marco, I was thinking the same.  However the domains missing are not in the dbo.Domains table.  In fact, that table has only 117 domains while my DNS server has a few hundred domains.
Even when I create a new domain right now on the DNS server (blablabla.com), it doesn't show up in the import.
The domains which I expect to see are in the Wireshark (soap request/answer between Enterprise server and DNS server).

Is there anything I can do further to debug?  I already did an F12 (developer bar/source view) in the browser but that also doesn't show me the names.
I can show it to you using Teamviewer session.

and your logged in as Serveradmin? (not peer users / etc)
We can take a look our selfs (or together on teamviewer) however that is done as premium support (paid). Time can be purchased here: https://solidcp.com/services/server-support/
