Good afternoon
I would like to know how they install the sql express and components, for if it is something that is influencing because I follow the letter, this video tutorial ( https://solidcp.com/kb/installation/install-solidcp-standalone-server-within -5-minutes /).

sometimes I get to pass mixed mode of authentication or when I remove solidcp / sqlexpress in the installation area of solidcp, it does not let me pass to the part of the password because it says that it does not exist or is not installed sql.

I would love, something that could help a step by step from scratch to see I am doing something wrong I have windows 2012 server r2 and sqlexpress, I would like to know that I have to download, please take like two weeks trying to install it

Hi Eduardo,

if you are using SQL Express, you can use this guide to install and configure it prior the SolidCP installation:  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/lesson-2-connecting-from-another-computer

Please use Port 1433 for the connection. After the changes and a restart of the SQL Express service you can proceed with the SolidCP tutorial.

One hint more: please use the English version of SQL Express. I’m not sure, but in Websitepanel and earlier SolidCP times there was a bug in the SQL structure, which throws an error while installation of the DB on localized MSSQL instances.

Best regards

Bogdan

Hello,

Can you try connect to the database from SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)?

You may need to download it from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssms/download-sql-server-management-studio-ssms

Thanks,
