Hi,
Just a quick question while following this install instructions on setting up hyper v: http://www.websitepanel.net/documentation/deployment-guide/virtual-private-server-windows-2008-r2-sp1-hyper-v/ on a server 2012 r2
- Do I need to install WAIK on the production Hyper V server?
- If yes, does anyone know where to download the most recent one (specifically for Server 2012 r 2). I googled around but found mostly for Win 8, Win 7 and Vista.
If anyone have some link references setting up SolidCP hyper v services would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
1)The Windows AIK doesnt need to be installed on the HyperV server. It can be installed on any machine and we dont recommend installing it on HyperV server. The Windows 8.1 AIK has these requirements:
• Windows 8.1
• Windows 8
• Windows 7
• Windows Server 2012 R2
• Windows Server 2012
• Windows Server 2008 R2
• Windows Vista
• Windows Server 2008
2) You can download the Windows 8.1/2012r2 AIK from https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=39982
