I hope somebody can help me with this. We have problems with Autodiscoverredirect with our hosted exchange 2013 and cant find a solution. Since ios 11 Autodiscover does not work anymore. It does not work anymore with new Samsung phones. iPhone with iOS 10 and older works without problems.
It looks like Apple have change something with Autodiscover over Port 80 and Port 443. I hope someone has a solution or knows the problem.

I hope for help because many solidcp usees for Multitenand Exchange and I usually find not many in google about it.
Use SRV records, not the cname with redirection trick.
_autodiscover._tcp
host offering the service: your server providing the autodiscover xml
prio 0
Weight 0
Port 443
Hey Wouter,
we are using SRV records, but on our side iOS devices are asking for the server configuration, so autodiscover isn't fully working. Is there anything helpful hint, how I can improve the environment to get iPhones fully workings with autodiscover only by input the e-mail and password?
Best regards
Bogdan
Ok thanks for that but someone knows the reason why redirect does not work in iOS11 an the newest Adroids?
Hello,
I think the HTTP method no longer works due to insecure traffic, while most devices prefer SSL or TLS.
Though thats just a guess.
Do note that if you run IIS 10 (windows 2016) you might want to try and disable HTTP2 feature (some people report this as the issue).
Though from the most part it seems to be an issue slipped in during updates for ios:
Some good information about why autodiscover fails for certain devices i think is best explained here:
To summerize it: some clients handle autodiscover root domain failure gracefully and move on to step 2, 3 and 4 like outlook
but alot of them see it as a complete failure and stop checking autodiscover and go to manual entry directly.

Marco
