not sure why this is happening all of a sudden, but when I go into the system settings, I get a nice red stripe of an error with the following, I cant find a reason in the logs on the main server why its doing this, I have double checked I can access all the servers in the virtual server, I can access all the settings locations in the system settings and everything seems to be working fine but just this dam error.

the weird part is if i send the email to myself about the error it goes away, if you refresh the page the error is not there, but if you click the system settings menu option on the left, the error appears again
hmmm ok sorted it out, the only thing wee did was install the sm fix, I reverted this back and now the error is gone, seems the patch has issues.
