I just noticed that there is a note in v1.2.1 on removal of Let's Encrypt. Is this indeed true? and if so why was it removed? - Is there a plan for implementation of Let's Encrypt in the future?

Thanks.

Hello,

This is correct that with version 1.2.1 we did remove Lets Encrypt as per our blog post found at https://solidcp.com/news/unwanted-codes-found-source/.

Currently we have a developer working on a brand new implementation of Lets Encrypt which will included in the next version.

Kind Regards,

Hello,

At the current moment there is no ETA on the next release of SolidCP. We will publish a release date when we are happy that the code is stable and has been fully tested.

We do always work to ensure that the new version will work even when skipping a release. We know people have been able to upgrade from 1.0.1 to 1.2.1 without any issues and we do continue to support this however we do plan to make some changes so people are required to update the database to a older version before going higher as this will decrease the update file sizes. When we do this it will be made clear the requirements and how to complete them with little hassle.

Kind Regards,

Trevor Robinson
