Local access to website

When i try to look up me website in a local machine i can't access the site but when i try it on me work or something is can see the website how can i fix this ?

Hello,

It would highly depend on your local dns (and firewall)

So first thing i would do is make sure you can ping the website name (domain.com) If it replies the correct ip or not, if it doesn't it shows your local machine doesn't have the correct DNS, if it does, it usually means your firewall lacks nat reflection (meaning it can't visit it self on it's external ip).

when i try to ping my domain i can see the site but every packet is loss

so i guess it cant visit it self on the external ip is there a way to fix that ?

Actually it's mainly about seeing the IP.

Packet loss is by default expected with blocked ping (many firewalls do this by default).

i would expect in this case that you have a firewall inbetween the server and the external ip is that correct?

yes the firewall form the server i try to trun it off but no succes
