Here is the situation: SolidCP 1.2.1 with Exchange 2016.

User has created contant user@domain.com

User creates a full mailbox with same email user@dmain.com

User will be created but it will NOT get the email address, just the 'generic" one and custom attributes will be blank

Hello,

You are correct on this not working.

There's a few side notes to remember though:

SolidCP creates user@primarydomain.com for every contact in exchange.

Exchange it self will not allow any duplicates in this regard (contacts/ mailboxes etc).

However one thing SolidCP should atleast fix up is to alert people clearly that it already exists (and not attempt to create it anyways).

Regards,

Marco

On a sidenote on this bug...

How do i correct the users that have the problem?

I have 5 active users that needs to get "in sync" with SolidCP

Can this be done by editing the database tables or any other method?

We had the same issue with one off our clients.

When a contact and a mailbox has the same display name that will happen.

The solution is to but in an extra blank space in one off the display name or put an extra char in the name
