Hi,

Am running on WSP 2.1, I have domain with website running and also has sub-domain created with another website running.

Have purchased wildcard certificate which is assigned to domain name with dedicated IP, now how do i assign the ssl cert to sub-domain ?

unlike other panels, WSP is showing domain.com and abc.domain.com with 2 different sites, i tried deleting abc.domain.com but while recreating it doesnt ask for IP or other option to apply SSL to sub-domain.

Thanks

Hello,

I would highly recommend upgrading to SolidCP since websitepanel has not been updated in 3 over years.

As far as the rest goes: If you use IIS without SNI each certificate (site) requires it's own dedicated ip, now technically this could be resolved by using Virtual Directories within that site, however WSP does not support this (this is introduced in SolidCP around version 1.2)

Regards,

Marco

Hello,

Currently there is an issue with wildcard certificates not applying correctly. The best option at the moment is its set by somebody who has administrator access to the server.

Trevor
