Hi guys,

I have setup Solid CP and Mail Enable - creating email accounts work a treat and everything seems to work well.

However, when I create a new domain it seems I have to manually add this domain into Mail Enable for webmail.

Can Solid CP do this automatically when creating the first email account and mail domain?

Thanks in advance,

Adam

Hello,

SolidCP should add the new domain into mailenable once a new email account is created with that domain.

It shouldn't require any additional actions.

Marco

Hi Marco,

Thanks for your reply.

So as long as the correct DNS is in place this should be working by default ect?

Is there anything I can check?

Warm regards,
Adam

Hi Adam,

It should work if you setup your WebMail service to bind to any host name on your public IP.

In this way you don't need to make specific bindings for each domain name, and your users can login with "mailbox@domain.foo".

If for some reason you need to make specific bindings for each domain, then you must setup manually.

Rafa

Hi Rafael,

Can you explain how I would bind webmail to any host?

Currently it's setup in IIS but in order to access webmail for newly created domains I have to add the webmail.domain.com into the binding in IIS.

I'd rather SolicCP/Mail Enable did this for me when creating a mail domain?

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Adam
