Does the solidCP installer upgrade like the original WSP version did. Meaning we have solidCP v1.1.1 install with the 1.1.1 installer. can we run the intaller, view available components and install the enterprise server and that is upgraded or is it better to manually do the upgrades?
For version 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 it's fine as there's no web.config changes and should work without issues just like the original WSP installer did.
However i would generally recommend the auto upgrade script here: http://installer.solidcp.com/Files/stable/Tools/SolidCP-Auto-Upgrade-Tool.zip
You just run it on the Enterprise server and it should update all servers for you.
Incase there is a minor error you can use the installer method or just do the manual way for that server/ component (shouldn't be needed in normal situations tho).
