While creating a site I am getting an error which state ''Specified web site already exists'', but if I search for the particular site I can't find any sites created (but domains are created)
Could someone please tell me what is the problem

Hello,
Is this a website that been previousely in your system or imported in any way?
In general when the website (and application pool) do not exist in IIS it can have an record stuck in the dbo.Domains database table, this will need to be manually removed (if it's stuck it should have 2 or more results in the domains database table).
