Hello,

Server 2016 Exchange 2016 SolidCP Version 1.2.0

I have few users that I am unable to delete them. I removed their mailbox and even disabled the user but still in the user screen I am unable to delete them.

I do not get an error message - just the waiting logo is running but nothing happens.

Please advice,

Kind Regards,

Hello,

In some rare cases (usually with instable AD) i noticed that simply refreshing the page and re-trying to delete works out proper from the Hosted organization --> Users menu.

In some other cases people lack Enterprise Admin rights on the application pool user. in such case you can't delete the exchange mailbox when they attached a mobile phone to the mailbox (workaround is to either delete the mobile phone first or simply increasing the user rights of the app pool).

Can you verify if any of those 2 things work or apply for you?

Regards,

Marco

About 1 - It is not a new thing that happening. I have it on all the organization that has in the panel.

About 2 - currently the user is without mail box (it gave me the option to delete the mailbox but not the user. I am not thinking that the user even had a cell phone record before I deleted the mailbox. But I can re-check about the rights. Do you have a KB doc that can I see what rights I need to give?

Ok then it gets a bit more complex.

The rights to be set can be found on this manual:  https://solidcp.com/kb/configuration/exchange-2013-2016-configuration/

I would double check it as normally those 2 options are the solution. Ofcourse there can be other reasons but their more easy to guess (for that a look on the system will be required, which we can only offer for paid support).

I did the double check. All the setting of the AD and the IIS are as you said.

And still, I am unable to delete the users.
