VPS doesn't stop when a space is suspended. There was a audit log about this it:

at SolidCP.EnterpriseServer.PackageAsyncWorker.ProcessServiceItems(Boolean changeState, Boolean enabled, Int32 serviceId, List`1 items)
Can this issue be fixed?

This is a known bug and is on our todo list.
Unfortunatly i do not yet have an ETA as to when this will be fixed but suspension problems i defenitly high on our todo list.

I have the same problem too. Also at deletion of the account, shows the same exception (Object of type 'System.String' cannot be converted to type 'SolidCP.Providers.Virtualization.VirtualHardDiskInfo[]) and does not delete the VPS.
