We need to develop new provider for VoIP system. Our infrastructure is mostly covered in SolidCP: AD, Exchange, SfB,..etc, but we know that VoIP need is not on any roadmap, so maybe we are on our own.
Yes, the source code is available, but the architecture of SolidCP is pretty unclear. How the Enterprise Server communicate with Server, configuration database, how Server communicate with services on specified host, and database structure itself with myriad of user types, account types, service plans???
Do you have any documentation to shorten the learning curve? or any pointer to create a provider for new type of service?
Unfortunately it will remain a large learning curve (even when you work with the codes daily/ weekly it’s alot of searching due to the many different ways the codes has been created over the many years).
In general Portal –> Enterprise –> Server is the direction things communicate.. all of them use Soap calls to do their bidding.
The most easy way i can recommend to get into it a little is by backtracking a simple module like FTP or mariaDB. it should teach you the basic’s of soap calls, proxy files, logs, etc.
Do note for contributors we also have a chat channel where others meet and try to help eachother out a bit (even if it’s just a quick brainstorm to an issue).
