Ok so here is the scenario.

I sell one plan that I use for my Site Builder packages - it needs to have an FTP account attached so the external site builder application can upload to it, however, I don't want the end user to be able to access that account.

When the account is created, the FTP password is randomised so they never know what it is - but there is nothing stopping them logging into SCP and just changing the password in the FTP Accounts section.

Is it possible (without recompiling the source) to edit the SpaceFTPAccounts page with a simple logic at the top like:

If (!AdminLoggedIn && PlanID == SiteBuilderPlanID) then SHOWBLOCKMESSAGE

?

Thanks!

Why don't you just make a different hosting plan which has ftp accounts disabled?

Hi marco 🙂

It needs an FTP account so the site builder can connect and upload to the webspace.

The work around is to create a master FTP account on the server than can connect up the whole w:Domains chain, but I really don't want to do that!

Hm,
then the only way to resolve that seems like an enhanced feature bit like disable tenant top domain creation option in hosting plan.
