Hi,

Can someone give me some directions on setting up a RDS environment in SolidCP, this is what I have done so far

setup 3 servers ( 1 Connection Broker, 1 Gateway / WebAccess and 1 SessionHost)

installed SolidCP server component on the 3 servers

add them to SolidCP Server section (none of the server detected the RDS role, add it manual to the session host server)

what are the next steps after this?

Hello,

You will need to configure the SolidCP server RDS Provider and add the server as a RDS server.

I do have the RDS documentation on my list to complete next week.

Thanks,

Trevor Robinson

Is there any instruction for adding RDS servers?  I'm not sure what to use for Root OU and Computers Root OU, and I get an error (below) when I try to add the server to RDS Servers.  I'm not even sure what functionality SolidCP provides for RDS.  Any additional documentation would be greatly appreciated.  I'm loving SolidCP for managing my Exchange server!  Thank you!

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Hey,

Very sorry about the delay in the docs. I will make sure these are finished by the end of next week.

These are example of the settings we use in our environment:

Root OU: CustomersRDS

Computer Root OU: CustomersRDSComputers

You will need to make these OU's before you set them.
