Problem Solved, some i must make wrong at the installer or something is not correct with the installer, dont know it.
I use the setup and config script from SolidCP on a fresh installed Server, after that i create all other self ( It was Empty ) like Hosting Plan, Server, ect. Now i was able to add the Exchange Server to my Hosting plan.
Glad you got it working.
It's hard for me to verify what exactly went wrong, from the responses given my first question would be: the password you used: does it use special chars, or longer then 20 charracters? (as there has been bugs with that before).
In regard to hosting plans and hosting spaces:
Hosting spaces retain the original settings at time of creation for most.
So if setting changes have been made after creating the hosting space they won't reflect existing spaces (not without a database query to adjust them).
Hi Marco, i have all time bevor a Password in the Script and also used at the installer, what was 25 characters long, generated by a password generator, so also with special character, maybee that was the problem, i dont know.
Next time i try to write more details, sorry.
No worries, happy you reported it.
i am just checking what i can learn from this case (or the community incase they read it later on what to try out 🙂 )
Hello Marco, I could adjust the problem on another VM.
The problem occurs when I use a complex password with special characters.
For example: +eW#UZNU^M8rk3E6ZkK?4&JmP
However, if I use a password which looks like this, the installation / configuration goes without problems
Example: MM63eMzJnaBByvWnuY2ERqqGF
