I am just using the ip address to go to portal. There is no domain name mapped to the site. So my host file has

[ip address of server] controlpanel

when I ping controlpanel on the server, the response look fine.

Quick questions

1. In standalone installation it say "make sure that the password you enter here is the Serveradmin password." Is this the password for the admin account on the machine or I can create any password for SolidCP installation.
2. Any windows sever settings I need to be aware of?

Is there anyone who can help resolve the issue, there was a response on DNS, can anyone write the steps what they did to resolve the similar issue

This is the password for the serveradmin user which you will use on the portal.

2. Any windows sever settings I need to be aware of?

There are non you need to be aware of except the requirements which are checked when you run the installer.
