So we have an existing HyperV server and would like to install SolidCP to manage VM's.
From what I understand
- I need to install solidcp enterprise and portal in a different server/vps
- And the server component in all the hyper-v machines that I want to manage
Should I use the same installer script for both the servers?
Is there any installation doc on how to install only the server component in an existing HyperV server. I really don't want to disturb the exiting VM's already created there. A little downtime will do, not something that goes completely out of control.
Thanks

Hello,
It is recommended to keep the portal, enterprise and SQL servers installed on its own VM to ensure that its kept secure.
On the HyperV host you will just install the SolidCP Server and then add it in the portal under Configuration -> Servers.
