>> I do also believe that if you was to remove the hosting space it should also add the IP to the pool.

are you saying once a hosting space is deleted for the client ALL ips in that space will return to SCP Pool ??

and what is a BETTER practice to create a new hosting space for each order a client makes (even if the client orders multiple similar vps) ? or create a single hosting space only and host multiple VPS under the same space ?...

Thank you,

Hello,

I am saying that i would expect once a hosting space is deleted its IPs are then returned to the pool.

I would say a single hosting space with multiple VPS would make it easier for the user to be able to see them but you may have to manually deallocate the IPs.

Kind Regards,

Hey,

I can confirm that the IP will be released automatically if a hosting space is deleted.

You can also delete the IP assignment manually, if you go to the hosting space and click on "Virtual Private Server 2012". On the left side a "VPS Menu" will show up. Please go then to VPS Menu -> External Network. Here you can deallocate selected IPs from a user/hosting space, when there is no assignment to a VM anymore. In this case the IP will go back to the pool and can be assigned to other users/hosting spaces.

It's a bit hidden, but it works.

Best regards

Bogdan
