I can confirm the same behavior as Eran. I am running exchange 2016 CU11 and SolidCP version 1.4.3. Upgrade from 1.4.2 to 1.4.3 did not help.
Any new customer added does not receive external email.
- I can create a new domain in an existing client and it works
- I can create new mailboxes for existing domains and they work
- If I move a new client user account to the root of my hosted OU it will start working
What about what OU the user in is would create this issue?
I found the solution.
Enable inheritance of securitypermissions on the OU SolidCP creates. I did have the time yet to figure out what permission is missing but this fixed the issue for me.
Thanks Eran Agmon! You pointed me in the right direction
Hello,
I have taken a look and unable to replicate this on Exchange 2016 CU10. We are going to try upgrade the environment to CU12 to see if we can get to the root cause of this issue.
Can you tell me if you have enabled List Object Mode on the AD for dSHeuristics?
Thanks,
Trevor Robinson
Hello,
- I am using SolidCP 1.43 that was installed from scratch with server 2019 and exchange 2019 (the 1.42 was a typo mistake).
- Trevor Marco If you need help I can connect you to my server it is still not in production.
- Jesse - After you Enable inheritance did were able to still edit update this client OU from the solidCP?
Yes I was still able to manage the users in this OU without issue. Also I will note all my other OUs created by SolidCP have inheritance enabled as well, without my doing so.
