Hi,

SCP : 1.4.2

I am trying to install Lets Encrypt cert, clicked on install and getting message in green bar stating certificate has been installed.

but i dont see any details below to that and nor any bindings in IIS and it looks its not installed in actual.

Log error shows : UriFormatException: "Invalid URI: The URI scheme is not valid."

kindly support.

Thanks

Hello,

The error suggests that there is a issue in the URL and Lets Encrypt was unable to verify it.

Can you try load the URL yourself to see if it loads?

Regards,

Trevor

Earlier it was working with https but then instead of renew ssl i deleted it and then not able to create again

so r u saying https is not loading and creating issue here..

i should remove the redirection to https and then create the ssl again !!

Thanks

Hello,

Lets Encrypt does not follow redirects and needs to be able to access the verification file at http://<YOUR_DOMAIN>/.well-known/acme-challenge/<TOKEN>. The token is created automatically but you should expect .well-known from any redirects.

Do also note that SolidCP v1.4.8 released today is able to give you more details on errors relating to Lets Encrypt.

Regards,

Trevor

I am able to load the url properly without https in incognito mode,

also tried opening scp in incognito / clear caches but still same issue and same error in log.

will be planning to upgrade to 1.4.8 over this week but at this point any other clue.

Thanks

Hello,

Please check your Windows Eventlog -> Applications to see if WACS has recorded any further errors.
