With the launch of the new SM MAPI service imminent (hopefully!) - SolidCP needs a way to able to set package limits on this.

Ideally, just a new field in the service called "MAPI Accounts" (which holds the total allowed) then a new setting/checkbox for an individual account which simply turns it on or off (SM API call : MapiEwsEnableUser) and updates the usage limits accordingly.

While we are at it, it would also be nice if hosting plans could define SM services that are allowed too (so for example, the team workspaces could be disabled unless you are on a specific plan) - but that's not as important as the MAPI 🙂

Hello,

Looking at the SM API we will need to complete a rewrite of the provider as they have introduced a totally new API.

Kind Regards,

I can reply to this now xD

It's not backward compatible? So then we shouldn't upgrade to this version at all?

Hello,

The API is not backwards compatible due to them changing method used to make calls to smartermail and not adding these features to the older API.

Kind Regards,

Trevor
