Hi.
I have generated a SSL cert (wildcard *.mydomain.com) and buy a real one. i have uploaded it and thats okej.
But how do i bind this cert to the website? I must miss something easy here. 🙂
In IIS i can see only http bindings for that site. (i can of course go to IIS and add it manuall)
Another thing is that export function of SSL need to fix the GUI its working but its out of frame.
Regards.
Pelle
Hello Pelle,
You should be able to assign the SSL certificate in SCP by going to the users Website then the SSL tab. Once the certificate is installed it will create the binding for HTTPS and the correct certificate.
We do recommend SNI is installed (This is standard on 2016) and enabled in the IIS provider.
I have made a bug report for the Export and will ask somebody to take a look for you. You can find the report at https://git.key4ce.com/SolidCP/v1.0/issues/128

Hi,
I had SNI support enable when i did this. I did everything from solidcp SSL tab generate code etc. (i was serveradmin)
So it should have made the binding itself when i installed the cert, well It didnt.
This is a Win 2016 machine.

Pelle
Hello Pelle,
From what i can see SCP does rely on the domain of the certificate to make the https binding.
I have logged a bug at https://git.key4ce.com/SolidCP/v1.0/issues/129 and we will look at this shortly for you.

Hi There SolidCP,
I want to install SSL certificate for one of my domains. As I can see through the portal for the steps to follow to create the SSL certificate, it is advised to go to the SSL tab under the selected websites.
But, I don't see the SSL tab under my website tabs.
Kindly help.
