Hello,

The portal update was unfortunately never fully finished by the developer (we hope to revisit that soon)

Meanwhile i would recommend to use the Powershell auto update script.

Regards,

Marco

Thanks for the reply.

There is a problem now, because, two of our servers have been downgrade (with update process) from 1.2.1 to 1.0.3 AND the SolidCDP installer on the server seen the Solidcp Server on 1.2.1 !

Should i remove the SolidCP server OR can i relaunch an update ? ANd how can i relaunch an update ?

You should be able t re-run the powershell update script just as normal

you can also do a manual update (manuals are available in the manuals section).

Hi,

Am new here and looking forward for migration from wsp 2.1.0 to SCP latest build, as per initial posts on this thread there were issues of upgrade script.

As we are on WIN2008 R2 box, do we need to follow:

  1. https://solidcp.com/kb/installation/migrate-websitepanel-solidcp/
    OR
  2. https://solidcp.com/kb/installation/migrate-websitepanel-solidcp-powershell/

Thank You

Hello,

Both methods should work so it's more or less what you prefer.

I personally always like the manual method as it leaves me 100% in control of whats being done.

DB should normally update fine but do keep a backup of the database and if any errors or warnings double check them (or post it in the forum)

Regards,

Marco
