Hi. I'm actually planning to upgrade one of our servers from Windows 2008R2 to 2012R2. I'm actually doing tests in lab and upgrade seems to go fine for Windows. Unfortunately, after the upgrade, SolidCP stills thinks it's working on 2008R2 with IIS 7.0. Is there a way I can tell SolidCP that server has been upgraded. Or what is the recommended path to upgrade Windows and keep SolidCP configuration? Thanks in advance for the help.

Not sure that's the right way of doing it, but after updating database table Services with OS and Web services set to the corresponding new providers (104 for Win2012 and 105 for IIS8), SolidCP seems to work properly. I've had not time to check everything. I only noticed that SNI was not available in server options. To have it appear, I've added a new entry to ServiceProperties table, with ServiceID set to 2, PropertyName set to sslusesni and PropertyValue set to false.

Hi jacoch,

That would be the correct way to upgrade the services from 2008R2 to 2012R2.

Kind Regards,

Trevor
