looking in the portal / enterprise server logs nothing is displayed, but on the server providing the remote option it shows this in the solid cp error loges

I can connect to the remote server from the selected remoting server which im using, I can use a Get-VMSwitch in powershell to get the switch info. What worries me is the hyperv servers are all 2012 hyperv, but the portal and enterprise server is on a 2008r2 server, which I see the automated update script fails due to not being able to execute certain cmdlets that dont exist in 2008r2 powershell. Is this not an issue maybe ?
Hello,
As far as i remember there is special changes needed on HyperV core hosts to allow access remotely. You should check these have been completed and that the SolidCP Server user (running the app pool) is able to connect to the server.
I have done some checks using SolidCP 1.4.3 and it is able to connect to a remote HyperV server without an issue.
Please do ensure the SolidCP Server (which should have the HyperV powershell installed) is either the same or greater version of Windows as this is required by Microsoft.
Thanks,
Trevor Robinson
