Hello,

It seems strange there is no errors in the event log. You can also check in Event Viewer -> Custom Viewed -> Server Roles -> Web Server (IIS).

There should be an warning by the WAS service the error number is normally 5009.

Kind Regards,

For both of them (Enterprise and Portal) the identity of the application pool is invalid. I don't know what to do about the username and password 'maybe being incorrect' since the Installer creates the SolidCP user with the password that is put into the field by default.

The errors (for each) go in order of 5021, 5057, 5059, with 5059 being marked as "Error" with the others being "Warning"s

Thanks,

Seth

Hey,

Glad you have been able to find some errors. If you try start the app pool and load the website see if you get any other errors like 5009.

Once you have an error that stops the app pool it normally gives a reason. If its the User/Password you can try manually reset it on the machine and in the App pool.

Kind Regards,

Every time the App Pool crashes, it results in the same order of Event IDs (5021, 5057, 5059)

How would I go about changing the password in the App Pool (and under AD Users and Computers, I would change the passwords for all of the users for SolidCP, correct)?

Hello,

If they are AD users do the password reset in AD Users and Computers, If local accounts use Computer Management.

You will then need to go to the app pool -> Advanced and change the login there.
