Hi.

Setup is Windows 2016, Mailenable, Mailcleaner community 2014.10

I have add Exchange Antispam to My mailserver as a service.

When i have created a customer and when i add the first mail account for that account it do not add the domain to mailcleaner server.

(No errors from the system)

But if i add another domain to the same customer and then add a mail account for that new domain. Then the system is creating the domain in mailcleaner. So some part of it works. The system can talk with the mailcleaner server.

Regards.

Hi Pelle,

Thank you for the bug report. Would you be able to confirm for me if you add another customer if it working fine? Would you also be able to confirm the version of SolidCP you are using?

I am not sure if this is expected as it is built for use with Exchange so it could a extra check which only applied to the first domain.

Kind Regards,

I have the latest build 1.1.2 upgrade manuall it yesterday. (First installation of this system was 1.1.1)

No it newer create the domain for new customers only when i add a domain and then create the firs mail account on that domain. If i add another domain to that customer so it will have 3 domains it create the 3 domain also so its only the first domain it fails, and with no errors.

Regards

Pelle

Im now seeing its not creating the domain when you add the user its when you add a domain it create the domain in mailcleaner.

I dont know why i tought it was when i create the first user. (Maybe because thats the step when it create the mail domain in mailenable)

But still its a problem when i create the hosting plan for the first time and having the primary domain.

In my opinion it should not create the domain on mailcleaner until i add the first user of mail, because somebody maybe have external mail and our mailcleaner server think its having the mail in our environment.

The same is when i delete the domain it delete it from mailcleaner, insteed it should delete it  when i only delete mail domain.

Hello,

I have checked with Marco and it should add the domain when you add a new space with domain or add a new domain. We will check into why it is not creating the domains in Mail Cleaner for you.

We can have a look into changing how a domain is added to Mail Cleaner but it would cause a major recode as we would need to do this in every mail provider. We will make a note of your comment for us to look at in the future.

As always thankyou for your feedback,
