I will be glad to share the solution for this issue it might help someone in need (like me) when searching the forums

 if u were not able to access the link which is showing i the error code and gives u an error code: 400 then u need just to do the following as mentioned in this page:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4831097/bad-request-invalid-hostname-iis7

This solved it for me and whmcs ia able to successfully establish connection to the server!…

Am just sad that such a baby issue and 1 minute fix remained so tough to resolve for 1 month here!...

Thanks

Hi,

thanks for sharing your information.

As already written in my previous post, I supposed that the issue could be a wrong binding to the enterprise server site. And in fact this was your solution.

Best regards

Bogdan

Ioncube loader version 6.0.1 added support for PHP7 as you can see from the ioncube blogpost at http://blog.ioncube.com/2016/09/15/php-7-ioncube-loaders/

The latest version of ioncube is 6.1.0.

I am having the same problem with it not connecting on the server test. I can access Enterprise Server via a browser on the server and also remotely via port 9002 yet WHMCS just goes round and round and delivers no error or anything. The module logs showed me this:

#0 /home/#####/public_html/#####.com.au/whmcs/modules/servers/SolidCP/SolidCP.php(108): SolidCP_EnterpriseServer->getUserByUsername('serveradmin')
#1 /home/#####i/public_html/#####/whmcs/vendor/whmcs/whmcs-foundation/lib/Module/AbstractModule.php(0): SolidCP_TestConnection(Array)
#2 /home/#####/public_html/#####/whmcs/vendor/whmcs/whmcs-foundation/lib/Module/Server.php(0): WHMCSModuleAbstractModule->call('TestConnection', Array)
#3 /home/#####/public_html/#####/whmcs/admin/configservers.php(0): WHMCSModuleServer->call('TestConnection', Array)
#4 {main}

This is the log no matter how long I leave it searching. (##### replaces space name and url obviously).

I am using WHMCS version 7.4.1 and SolidCP 1.3.0 on windows server 2016.

Any suggestions?
