Thanks! 🙂
I'm glad that it seems I wasn't doing something wrong then.

I'll follow the tracker

Hello @squazz,

I have been taking another look at this bug. Can you confirm for me if the user has a OS assigned in the hosting plan with the database?

I was able to replicate it when OS was not assigned to the hosting plan but once a OS is assigned it worked fine.

Regards,

Trevor

@trobinson what do you mean by assigning an OS?

From my physical server, I can chose "System"
In my virtual server, under system, I can then choose "Windows Server 2019"
Under Quotas in the hosting plan, I can then choose "System" and select my quotas. I've set everything to either unlimited or enabled here.

I've added a screenshot of what I've set up

Hey,

Can you try run a backup to the hosting space and see if you get the same error?

If you open file manager can you try upload a test document for me?

Is the OS on the same server as your SQL or an different server?

Regards,

Trevor

@trobinson

I don't see a way to backup to the hosting space?

When I navigate to the filemanager under the hosting space, I get the following error:
"Error getting files list

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation."

Looking in the event-viewer I don't find anything corresponding to the above error.

In the auditlog, I only find an error from trying to upload to the filemanager:
"

Doing a manual backup from SSMS to "C:\SqlBackups" worked just fine

I just tried to copy a PDF and a .bak file to the backupath "C:\SqlBackups" manually, worked just fine

The OS is on the same server

When trying to create the backup through the SolidCP portal, I see that the backup ends in this folder: "C:\Users\SCPServer\AppData\Local\Temp". Maybe the error comes when something tries to move it from there to "C:\SqlBackups"?

I see that the issue at Github have been closed: https://github.com/FuseCP/SolidCP/issues/76

Does that mean that there's something new to this issue? What should I do about an "invalid hosting space file system" ?

Hello,

Sorry i didn't see the last reply. With regards to the error i believe this is due to a issue with the file system and the related filemanager issue.

When you open the file manager on SolidCP is any error logged on the server hosting the OS space?

Regards,

Trevor

@trobinson I don't get any error logged when opening the file manager. But trying to upload something with the file manager gives the above error
