Hello,

I have implemented a fix for this issue. Please download the latest v1.4.8 and set the primary feed url to https://webpifeed.blob.core.windows.net/webpifeed/5.1/WebProductList.xml along with removing all others.

If you have already upgraded to the latest version please rerun the powershell auto update script so the latest version is copied with the small fix.

Regards,

Trevor

Microsoft has stopped the WWAG service as from the 1st of July 2021. The only way to do this now would to use a custom feed and a self deployment of the files on a local website somewhere. not sure is someone is looking at this or another option.

I have been looking at trying to host these gallery files locally, it requires that you take the applicationlist and productlist files and copy therm locally and edit them to suite your apps, in this case we only doing like wordpress, joomla, magento, opencart, moodle and a few others.

The issue here is if I configure the local web platform installer to use these files it sees the apps and dependancies, etc on the local installer, but if I configure solidcp to look at these files via my websitelink to the xml files which in a browser is seen 100% it errors out with the following.

Web Application Gallery module is unavailable:
- GeneralError:Server was unable to process request. ---> WpiHelper: download first feed failed: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Microsoft.Web.PlatformInstaller.ProductManager.MergeWith(ProductManager productManager) at Microsoft.Web.PlatformInstaller.ProductManager.LoadExternalFile(Uri uri) at SolidCP.Server.Code.WpiHelper.TryLoadFeeds() at SolidCP.Server.Code.WpiHelper.LoadFeeds() ---> Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Which tells me that it cant load the feed or something. I tried using a custom feed as well, iw setup web platform installer with default feeds and then add a custom one, tyhis works fine, but if I do this in solidcp it doesnt see the custom feed.

I would assume this can be done to host the files locally, I have got a few of the working wordpress, joomla and one or two other installers with their manifests etc, so surely we should be able to imitate microsofts site and point these files to a local server surely ?
